2) Have you read the guild charter and loot council FAQ? Do you agree with them?
Yes I have read them and yes I agree with them. I have had good experience with loot council in the past and it is my preferred method of loot handling.
3) Why are you interested in joining Conquest?
I was curious when I saw the spam and decided to check out the website. I read a little bit and was pleasantly surprised. It seems uncommon lately to find intelligence and maturity in a guild.
4) If applicable, tell us why you left your last guild(s).
I left my last guild because I stopped playing due to different real life variables and raid time conflicts.
5) Do you know any current Conquest members who will vouch for you? If so, please list their names.
I don’t believe I know any current Conquest members off the top of my head.
6) Please tell us about any previous raiding experience in WoW.
I have previously had experience raiding all things prior to WOTLK since I started playing in beta and have started and stopped several times since that time. In WOTLK I have experience in all instances up to Ulduar, Ulduar10/25(but not fully cleared), and ICC up to Dreamwalker(in pugs), I have done RS10/25 on mage and Shaman in pugs but the pug was only successful on my Shaman in RS25.
7) Please tell us about any previous leadership experience in WoW.
Throughout my time here in WOW I have served as assistant guild master from time to time as well as Raid Leader. I found them both to be harder and more stressful than they looked on paper
I’m sure that hasn’t changed much since we have gone from 40 down to 25.
8) What do you want out of your playing time?
I want enjoyment out of my playing time. If I start raiding again I want to enjoy the company of the people I play with and I also want progress, progression and a feeling of accomplishment. Being able to make friends is also important because I play this game to escape the stressors of the real world not create more.
9) Are you able to make all of Conquest’s raid times (Mon, Tues, Thurs 6-9 PST) on a regular basis?
Yes I am.
10) Are you able to listen and speak on Ventrilo?
Yes I am.
11) Approximately what percentage of raids do you plan to attend?
I plan on attending them all so, 100%!
12) Please describe your computer/internet setup and indicate whether you tend to have lag or connectivity issues.
I tend to build myself a new computer every year so it’s typically fairly robust. I do not tend to have much lag or disconnect (knock on wood.>.<)
13) Are you willing to occupy a bench slot (online and still available to sub in) when needed?
Yes, I’m familiar with this tactic.
14) In your opinion, what do skilled players of your class and spec contribute to 25-man raiding?
Skilled mages are ones that can single-handedly create a mage table of such great stature that the whole raid can eat from it. They should also bring fast interrupts, quick crowd control and strong reliable dps.
15) What do you, as an individual, bring to raids that distinguish you from average players?
As an individual raider I bring my A-game to every raid. I put everything I have into my efforts and they are typically very consistent. I bring awareness that I feel is typically better than that of the average player. My experience is also something I consider to be higher than an average player might have. I bring a winner’s mentality and the perseverance it takes to accomplish it. I also have a couple ideas for the new healthcare plan
16) If you had to name your favorite movie at the moment what would it be? Why?
If I *had* to pick one I guess I would go with The Hangover. This is how I envision my friends and me acting on such a trip and it’s just hilarious. If you haven’t seen it then you should stop whatever you are doing and watch it. I love to laugh and make people laugh so I love comedy movies.
17) What mods do you use, and why do you like them?
I have over a hundred different mods in my mod folder. I love mods and I have sort of a mod problem… here’s a few that would pertain to your interests.

OMEN – Haven’t used in a while but used to keep track of threat with it

Recount – Show my performance versus others

Bartender4 – Manipulate bars to fit my modified UI

BigBrother – Check others for buffs and monitor who and when CC breaks
•
Grid(sometimes Perfect Raid) – Better raid frames than what Blizzard has to offer

Clique – Use for easily casting heals or buffs

Gearscore – Quickly identify other’s gear level and get an idea of their expected output
•
Opie – Lump functions or similar tasks into short easy to use key commands
•
Power Auras – Use on-screen indicators of buffs, debuffs, procs and various other events

Quartz – Much better casting bar
•
Scorchio2 – Monitor mage utility on several targets
•
Tidy Plates(Threat Plates) – Keep tabs on agro and threat levels with a cleaner name plate

ZOMGbuffs – Buff checker so that everyone gets the appropriate buffs on them

This one I heard a couple days ago from a redneck customer at work.
A redneck walks into a lawyers office and tells him he wants one of them dayvorces.
Well, sir, do you have grounds? asked the lawyer.
Yep. I have me about 150 acres.
No, I mean do you have a case? asked the lawyer.
Nope, but I have me a real nice John Deere.
Well, does she beat you up? asked the lawyer.
Nah, we both get up at 5:30.
Well, is she a nagger? asked the lawyer.
Nope, she's a little white gal, but our last child was a nagger. That's why I want a dayvorce!

Consider that it’s 5:30 A.M. No but seriously…
I am intelligent, educated and quick to learn. I pick up on new strategies and tactics easily and can adapt to different demands on the fly. I am determined to be the best and so I strive for it in real life as well as game. I am a laid back guy that enjoys playing the game and accomplishing new things. I also believe that you cannot create a great player, greatness comes from within.
